A fun, fast moving class. About twenty tricks will be introduced including things like crawl, tug, touch, paws up, balance something on the nose, fetch, spin and twirl, jump over (a low hoop or stick).

This class will prepare you and your dog for an AKC Tricks title, or you can simply enjoy bonding and working with your dog without the pressure of earning a title.

Price:  $140 + 2.50 registration fee for 7 week session, classes are held on Tuesdays

Prerequisite:  Must have mastered obedience commands such as sit, stay and heel. Be able to work near other dogs while on leash

What to bring to class: Flat collar, martingale, or slip collar, exactly a 6 foot leash, high value treats, treat pouch, water, mat/rug and a positive attitude! No prong collars, choke chains, e-collars, retractable leash or harnesses that restrict shoulder movement.  A variety of items such as a hula hoop, a button or push bell, a box large enough for your dog to get in.  Each class we will discuss what to bring to the next class and may vary by student.

Cancellation & Refunds: If you need to cancel anytime before the day of the first class of a session, we’re happy to offer a refund minus fees (currently about $13 to cover registration fees and credit card processing).No refunds can be given for cancellations made on or after the first class of a session. We’re also unable to offer refunds, credits, or prorated fees for missed classes once the session has started. I'm only signing up the one handler who’ll be working with the dog in class. If there are additional registrations with the same dog, those registrations will be canceled and refunded, minus fees. Need to switch to a class that’s a better fit for your skill level?
