Santa Clara Dog Training Club

A Scentwork Lower level practice event where you can experience a show-like event in a realistic setting, get feedback from our experienced instructors & volunteer judges, and build confidence. 

Unlike official competitions, the rules at this are flexible and beginner-friendly. It’s all about learning.

One run through consisting of 2-3 searches per registration.  Lower level searches are simlar to AKC Novice and Advanced levels (birch/anise, smaller areas, less hides). 

Upper level group searches are equivalent to AKC  excellent and above (birch/anise/clove, larger areas, more hides).

Details of check in and run times will be available closer to the event. Upper level group check-in and start time will be staggered following the lower group. 

What to bring: A crate for your dog and any equipment needed for this level.

Cancellation & Refunds: If you need to cancel anytime before the event, we’re happy to offer a refund minus fees (currently about $3 to cover registration fees and credit card processing). No refunds can be given for cancellations made on the day of the event or missing the event.
