Ready to compete! Ring Ready is a unique class designed for handlers and dogs preparing to compete in AKC Beginner Novice (BN) or Novice Companion Dog (CD) trials. This class offers a simulated competition experience, providing the opportunity to practice in a trial-like environment with real-time feedback.

In each session, you'll practice the judged exercises required in obedience trials, helping you build confidence and improve your ring readiness. The instructor will provide personalized feedback and training suggestions for each handler and dog, with approximately ten minutes of individual attention per dog.

Whether you're preparing for your first trial or refining your skills for an upcoming competition, Ring Ready is the perfect way to get your dog trial-ready.

Price:  $100 + 2.50 registration fee for 5 week session, classes are held on Tuesdays. 

Prerequisite: Dog and handler MUST ALREADY KNOW all the exercises required to compete in obedience trials.  

What to bring to class: What to bring to class: Flat collar, martingale, or slip collar, 6 foot leash, high value treats, treat pouch, water, dog crate optional and a positive attitude! No prong collars, e-collars, or retractable leashes.

Cancellation & Refunds: If you need to cancel anytime before the day of the first class of a session, we’re happy to offer a refund minus fees (currently about $13 to cover registration fees and credit card processing).No refunds can be given for cancellations made on or after the first class of a session. We’re also unable to offer refunds, credits, or prorated fees for missed classes once the session has started. I'm only signing up the one handler who’ll be working with the dog in class. If there are additional registrations with the same dog, those registrations will be canceled and refunded, minus fees. Need to switch to a class that’s a better fit for your skill level?
