This upbeat, beginner-friendly class introduces the exciting sport of AKC Rally Obedience—a fun and rewarding way to build teamwork and communication between you and your dog. Rally combines elements of traditional obedience with a course of signs that guide you through specific exercises such as sits, turns, pace changes, and more.

This class focuses on continuing to develop foundational obedience skills, learning to navigate a Rally course, and introduction to Novice and Intermediate-level Rally signs. Whether you're interested in competing or simply want a new way to train and have fun with your dog, this class is the perfect starting point. 

Classes should be repeated to become proficient in all skills before advancing to the next level class.

Price:  $100 + 2.50 registration fee for 5 week session, classes are held on Tuesdays. 

Prerequisite: Basic leash manners and sit/down/stay (doesn’t have to be perfect!)

What to bring to class: Flat collar, martingale, or slip collar, 6-foot leash, high-value treats, treat pouch, water, and a positive attitude!  No e-collars. Crate so your dog is safely put up during the walk-through that precedes each class.  

Cancellation & Refunds:  If you need to cancel anytime before the day of the first class of a session, we’re happy to offer a refund minus fees (currently about $13 to cover registration fees and credit card processing). No refunds can be given for cancellations made on or after the first class of a session. We’re also unable to offer refunds, credits, or prorated fees for missed classes once the session has started. I'm only signing up the one handler who’ll be working with the dog in class. If there are additional registrations with the same dog, those registrations will be canceled and refunded, minus fees. Need to switch to a class that’s a better fit for your skill level? Transfers may be possible, depending on space availability. Price differences will apply.
